Briar Rose is celebrating its third anniversary this June and has already achieved cult status. You’ll need to make a reservation to taste the wines.  Once you’re there, enjoy the VERY special wine tasting experience, wander the gardens and savor the enchantment.  You will walk away with the wine tasting experience of a lifetime and a memory like no other.

Producing about 2,400 cases, this winery specializes in red varietals, the estate-grown offerings include an intense award winning Estate Zinfandel, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot, Cabernet Franc, and a super Tuscan blend. Other offerings include a vivacious, fruity Sangiovese and a smooth Merlot.  Their white varietals include a Viognier, Gewurztraminer and a Fume Blanc. Wines run from $18.00 to the $1,300 mark. And just so you know they have a fun and flirty side to go with all that serious wine making prowess, try their newest release — a sweet and effervescent wine lager called “Talking Frog”. Disney aficionados will understand how that name fits into the whole Snow White theme. Others… will have to look it up because I am out of room for today!
