Gewurztraminer is the name of a grape but also the name of the wine made from the grape. Gewurz means “spicy” in German.  This wine is delicious, fruity and has a very perfumed and flowery bouquet.  It’s sweeter than Riesling, which is a dry wine.

Food pairing: spicy Asian food, noodles, curry, chicken stir fry, turkey sausage, swiss cheese
