Briar Rose winery has a fine reputation for producing distinctive, hand crafted Bordeaux-style wines in small lots. The winery is dedicated to meticulous vineyard management practices. The Winery does harvest a very low yields to obtain only the finest quality fruit. The wines are Art in a Bottle. The wines are made in the old world traditional ways using only the finest yeast and cooperage. The result is crafting wines of distinction .

2013 Zinfandel
As a grape and wine known for being the flagship of the California wine industry, our Zinfandel does not shrink its heritage. It is a smooth, medium bodied wine with red fruit characters of blackberry, boysenberry and black cherry. This wine has a deep ruby hue and is very versatile pairing beautifully with Lamb chops, sirloin and game meats. |

2005 Cabernet Franc
Its core, just shy of opaque, gleams with rich, deep-ruby hue. All of the hallmarks of a well-grown Cabernet Franc show themselves in this wine. It has a fragrance reminiscent of a bramble thicket full of ripe raspberries and blackberries. It flaunts its rich perfume of sweet fruit and dried aromatic herbs. Its flavors ally with its aromatics by contributing layers of complexity. |
